Over priced

Well at least dick Turpin wore a mask. Joined shell 2 yes ago as they were three provider at my new property, phoned them up and was advised this was the best plan for me. Paid DD of £113 every month, never changed in summer or winter.
Now considering I live on my own and my mother whose a pensioner and is at home all day, her DD to another provider were £60 PCM. They miss sell you plans that’s for sure. Just switched providers after being locked into a two year deal with these crooks, switched to eon, gave eon my gas and electricity usage for the full year, they’ve given me a DD of £30 PCM . Stay well clear of shell,£113 PCM to £30

Terrible management of accounts

Terrible management of accounts, customer services are terrible and avoid at all costs

They charged me upfront a big amount…

They charged me upfront a big amount upfront, plus they OVER estimate my energy use- I’m a single person with low energy use, and low income, so this is grossly unfair.
Also Shell still use fossil fuels around the world and make money out of destroying the climate! I wont use them again because of these reasons

Awful service

Awful service, put on hold for 50mins just to be cut off. Final bill took nearly two months after we moved out. This bill does not make any sense but I can’t speak to anyone to sort it out. Online chat has a queue of 45 in front of me. So frustrated with this company. I will never use Shell or British Gas for that matter ever again. Good customer service is everything for an energy provider. Avoid shell as all cost.

I am not pleased in the least

I am not pleased in the least, and if you look up my account number you will know why, the problems I have had have been going on since 12th Oct and ended up with my daughter dealing with the problems, not pleased is me being polite.

SHELL RIP OFF ENERGY

Absolutely rubbish their automated number to pay your bill doesn’t and has not worked for 6months. They are a total con merchants. I am depressed that I have to be stuck with these con men.

Over charges

I can not understand why my bill is so high I have hardly been at my home it says payment outstanding £64.06 starting balance 98.17 electricity £50.44 gas32.77 other charges £60 .total £121 this cannot be right I’m sorry I can’t accept this it’s impossible I’ve been away most days I will have to change company after reporting this

Stay away from Shell

The agent I talked last was very helpful. The company’s overall service is extremely poor though. They had received my payment since 16th of January and they were asking for it again. I contacted them multiple times and everythime they said they will allocate the payment. But nothing.

Smart Meter Cancellations – Ridiculous

I have booked in twice for a smart meter and both times they have been cancelled either the morning of the appointment or the evening before! It is then almost 2 months to be rescheduled to what, then be cancelled again? Absolutely ridiculous!

DON’T YOU EVER GET TIRED OF ACTING LIKE LOAN SHARKS AND HAVING A LEVEL OF INTEGRITY WHICH WOULD MAKE THE AVERAGE DRUG DEALER FEEL ASHAMED? WHY ARE YOU SUCH FILTHY PARASITES HELL BENT ON PUTTING YOUR CUSTOMERS, OR SHOULD THAT BE ‘VICTIMS’, INTO DEBT AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY? YOUR TRAINED MAGGOT XXXXX OF SO CALLED DEBT RECOVERY COMPANY XXX XXXXXXX (XXXXXXX) SEEMS TO PREFER NON-DEBT RECOVERY AS LONG AS HIS PALM IS GREASED WITH MONEY. FOR EVERY PARASITE ENERGY COMPANY THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE AROUND TO DO THEIR DIRTY WORK. WHERE DID YOU PICK THESE COWBOYS FROM I WONDER? i CAN’T IMAGINE ANY SELF-RESPECTING DEBT RECOVERY WOULD WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH SOMETHING AS CORRUPT AND DESPICABLE AS SHELL ENERGY. A QUICK VIEWING OF YOUR CUSTOMER REVIEWS WOULD PUT THEM OFF FOREVER.

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever. Wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Will never return as a customer. Extremely unhelpful.

I feel conned!

I have never been so stressed with an internet provider since dial up connection!!!! The past 3 months have been a nightmare from the beginning! The connection drops out every other day and sometimes for hours at a time. The customer service may as well be replaced by automated services as they just all seem to be reading a few points from a scrap of paper and are completely unsympathetic. Working from home in this pandemic with poor internet is a great struggle and being asked by customer service “why dont you ask work to send you a dongle” is out of order and ridiculous. I am being treated like i am not paying for the service and feel extremely let down. I am now in the process of terminating my contract as i feel traumatised and backed into a corner. Disappointed that i have to fork out so much money to leave but i value my sanity, so good riddance.

Over priced

Over priced, it’s really hard to get through to anyone and you get charged a lot when you leave, don’t do it!!

Poor from shell energy during…

Poor from shell energy during transferring my energy over to them, clearly didn’t read my emails, spent a long time waiting on the telephone to get things sorted, thankfully got someone who read the message and got things sorted, hopefully things will improve from now on.

Very bad customer service. Staff giving wrong information to customer & may be lieing some times. Won’t refer or suggest anyone to go with them.

Changed me over and are more expensive…

Changed me over and are more expensive than my previous supplier and took money out of my account with out my permission! Trying to sort it out is a nightmare! Don’t even bother with there internet I’m better off using my mobile network as its quicker than there super fast broadband!

very poor customer service

very poor customer service. slow to reply online about faults and even worse if you have a phone line problem trying to speak to anyone is a appalling. personally when my contracts gas electricity and broadband phone I will move.
