Shell gripe website sucked into US litigation between warring Shell global security spymasters
By John Donovan
Our article – “Spectacular falling out of ‘Security Professionals’ at the top of Shell” – is reprinted on several pages of a recently filed 177-page “Exhibit A” in an astonishing lawsuit involving the head of Shell Global Corporate Affairs Security, James W.D. Hall.
Mr Hall has faced a succession of accusers, starting with the Security Manager for Shell Oil Company, Crockett Oaks III. Shell settled his claim. Mr Mike Oliveri, another guy with a senior military/security affairs background also sued Shell on related allegations involving Mr Hall. Mr Oliveri is a decorated war veteran, a Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve. Mr Hall’s current accuser is Mr Walied Shater a former US Secret Service agent.
All of the cases are in respect of alleged discrimination by Mr Hall described in one legal document as a professional peddler of falsehoods.
We have had an insider source feeding us information throughout the continuing litigation. Under the circumstances, we should not perhaps be surprised that my involvement and that of several of my websites are cited in legal documents supplied to the court.
The text in italics is an extract from page 20 of a 42-page document filed in court for Walied Shater on 20 December 2021.
“The suit was covered in the Houston Chronicle and in a widely read blog that focuses on Shell (Exs. A-14 and A-15 and Hall Dep., Ex at 220, 232).”
I have found the relevant exhibit information for A-15 – See below – but not from the “Hall Dep” exhibits. That information may have been redacted?
Pages 162 to 169 of Exhibit A-15 contain references to me, an article authored by me and references to my Shell focussed websites including royaldutchshellplc.com, shellenergy.website, royaldutchshellgroup.com, shellnazihistory.com, royaldutchshell.website, johndonovan.website, shellnews.net and shell2004.com. Includes complete copies of two articles, one of which (by me) listed the names of people involved in the court case, including Shell security staff. Not something Shell would welcome.

New legal documents for the current case will be published in the next 48 hours. They are already in my possession and control.
