Shell Exit from Russia

SHELL EXIT FROM RUSSIA

By John Donovan: 28 Feb 2022: 7.30 pm UK

I advised a news media source several hours ago that the prospect of a Shell exit from Russia had been discussed at the highest level of Shell.

An article has subsequently been published confirming Shell’s exit.

I had already raised the issue in a couple of article headlines I published yesterday about BP pulling out of Russia.

I do have a particular interest in Sakhalin 2 having played a pivotal role in Shell losing its majority stake in the project, as acknowledged in TV and print interviews by the then Russian Deputy Environmental Minster, Oleg Mitvol.

My publication of a David Greer motivational email supplied to me by a Shell insider resulted in Greer’s forced resignation reported in several articles published in the FT. David Greer was a Shell Managing Director and Deputy Chairman of Sakhalin Energy.

Extract: “The memo was leaked to the website www.royaldutchshellplc.com, which has long been a thorn in Shell’s side. Shell confirmed the e-mail was genuine but was reluctant to discuss it further.”

This website and sisters royaldutchshellgroup.com, shellnazihistory.com, royaldutchshell.website, johndonovan.website, and shellnews.net, are owned by John Donovan. There is also a Wikipedia segment.
