SHELL ENERGY = SHAMBOLIC

Terrible Broadband Provider

Terrible Broadband provider.

Not had any service for months even though paying for high speed fibre, I have been on the phone for literally hours every week only for them to keep telling me my fault has been resolved.

This morning was the 4th time I’ve taken time away from work for an engineer, to fail to turn up or even call me.

After an hour on hold this morning, they advised its not possible for me to speak to a manager, to make a complaint, or basically do anything to resolve the situation.

They will just re-raise a new case again and expect me to wait another week with no service for the same thing to happen next week, where they will magically ‘resolve my issue’ their end and the nightmare starts again.

Terrible company for broadband. I would avoid at all costs.

absolutely pathetic

absolutely pathetic broadband service, if your thinking of joining these then you need to seriously think again, been with them 15 months and in that time i have had at least 50 days with no internet, it just goes off all the time for around a week at a time, i have 3 disabled kids who rely on the internet so need it at all times so everyday that the shell broadband doesnt work i have to buy a BT hotspot wifi that cost £8 a day, internet is currently broken again and has been for the past 8 days,i try to ring up and the only advice they give me is to take the front part off the socket, all the while this is costing me £8 per day just to have internet in the house,i got my monthly bill today and they have the cheek to try and charge me £65 for an engineer visit in may from the last time it broke, my bill is £21 per month but over the past year i have spent over £300 easily on BT hotspot wifi because these clowns cant give me a connection, they want to send another engineer around but i cant afford to pay £65 for them to come out so now i am stuck with no internet, my kids are severly disabled and non verbal so when the internet goes off they get very frustrated and can become violent, i have rang up today 5 times trying to resolve this and been cut off by their wonderful staff so thank you for that and for upsetting disabled children

SHELL = SHAMBOLIC

Well it is now MANY MONTHS since Shell installed our Smart Meter.

It’s not working and not very smart, NO COMMS, NO INFO, NO RESOLUTION.

SHAMBOLIC.

company should be investigated

one of the worse energy companies to deal with i was with them over 2 years had smart meter then i moved to scottish power next thing considering i paid direct debit i got told that i owed them over £1700 i disputed this but they said this was right so that would take my monthly bill to over £200 considering I had fixed tarrif for some reason my bill dropped when i moved to scottish power. i have been with scottish power over 2 years now next thing o knew the passed debt onto zinc i only knew this as i got a text message from zinc nothing from this crap company. how the hell can they let a debt go to that if i was paying direct debit and had a smart meter. i will be going further with this things are mad enough with cost of living

I keep getting harassed about returning the Zyxel Router.

I kept getting harassed about my payments not arriving on time, despite them being sent by standing order on the first of every month, ahead of the 8th deadline. Usually a letter would arrive on the 5th telling me the payment had not been received. The automatic telephone payment service is appalling.

I had previously been with Post Office broadband and their automatic system worked every time.

I finally switched to BT and now SEB are demanding I return the gnarly old Zyxel Router supplied by the Post Office or face a £35 charge.

Well, the router was packed nearly two weeks ago and is awaiting a label which SEB had promised to send out.

I’ve just had another letter from them threatening to charge me £35 for not having returned the router. I’ve reminded them that I am awaiting the returns label and that their representative had confirmed the label had been sent. Well, it hasn’t arrived and I don’t know where to send it.

I’ve made it clear that if the label has not arrived by the 8th July, then I assume they no longer want the router returned – they’ve had enough time to get a label to me.

I shall also be sending them daily emails about not receiving the label next week.

I have also advise them that I shall be seeking legal advice over the harassment.

Useless company

Useless company! Forced on Shell after Green went bust. Not only was the standing charge and unit price the highest I’ve ever seen but the administration was terrible. We switched from them to Octopus but Shell just kept on billing us after the changeover date.
