Hi Everyone. Shell broadband Etc. I’m not going to repeat what people have been saying about Shell, from my own experience they are the worst company I have ever dealt with. So with that in mind let’s get down to how we can all play our part to bring this company down legally. Money Money Money, they cannot survive without money. Boycott all shell products and services, tell family and friends to do likewise. Get on to social media spread the word. Word and mouth will spread like a forest fire it just needs you to do your bit. Shareholder a perfect storm is coming, will your shares become worthless, should you even be supporting this bad company. The top brass at shell need to know what’s happening, their email address is on the internet fill their inboxes with your truthfully thoughts. The people in the UK deserve better lets get rid of this crap company from our shores.read more
This company has the very worst customer service in the planet.I was without internet for days.I work online and couldn’t work for 3 days and a half. They never sent an engineer. I saw an Openreach vsn, and the guy was good enough to come and check my connection. It was the router. The engineer sent his notes, and Shell should have sent the router. They wouldn’t. It was not the engineer that they sent, although it was an Openreach engineer, who was the only person who knew what SERVICE is. Horrible, unhelpful, terrible company. Good riddance.read more
Worse mistake was to take on Shell broadband. They are rip off company. You are given a service blindly. You have a 2 week “cooling off” period but thats BEFORE u have a service. This should go against consumer rights. Stuck with a company i do not want otherwise its £300 to cancel. What a p@ss take. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND SHELL BROADBAND IN ANY WAY OR SHAPE! stinging me for £35 for a router they did not clearly state needed to be returned. 3 phone calls later and they still charging me. Its a mickey mouse company whose logo is ” rip as many people off as possible. Steal their money and make it impossible for ppl to cancel. Charlatans, daylight robbery. It may be a cheaper provider but this is the reason why. I agreed 21.99 only to find they are charging me 23.99. Another compliant still no feedback. DO NOT TAKE ON SHELL BROADBAND.read more

SHELL ENERGY ‘ROTTEN, RUBBISH BROADBAND!’
Shell Energy Broadband Reviews recently posted on broadband.co.uk

I have been with SHELL Energy Broadband now for three terrible months. I had no choice because they took over my Post Office B/b account and I could not leave. I have nearly a year left on this rotten system. For some reason, it is far, far worse than it ever was. The Post Office was not good but this is a absolutely abysmal. Even short downloaded programs off YouTube continually stop with that “Loading” message. Music videos just stop midway and take over 5 minutes to load in many cases. I have just tried to watch a SKY NEWS clip on YouTube which is 1 minute 45 seconds long. It took nearly 4 minutes to load and then kept stopping! Trying to contact Shell on the phone is totally pointless and Emails get no response. THIS IS ROTTEN, RUBBISH BROADBAND! Do yourself a big, big favour and go elsewhere for yours! Stay away from SHELL, whatever you do!read more

During the Q&A session at the Shell Plc Annual General Meeting held today in London, a shareholder drew attention to a survey of UK energy companies, the findings of which reflected badly on Shell.
Shell Energy ranked as one of the worst companies in terms of *customer satisfaction.
Shell Plc Chief Executive Officer Ben van Beurden frankly admitted that all is not well at Shell Energy and pledged that remedial action will be taken.

Climate protesters block start of Shell shareholder meeting
By Shadia Nasralla and Ron Bousso:
LONDON, May 24 (Reuters) – A couple of dozen climate protesters disrupted Shell’s (SHEL.L) annual general meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, chanting slogans and holding banners as Shell Chair Andrew Mckenzie tried to start the meeting.
Shell is due to ask its shareholders to vote on a resolution supporting its climate strategy and rebuff a climate resolution from activists, another iteration of which garnered 30% of votes at last year’s AGM.read more

Bloomberg
Shell Climate Case to Return to Focus at Annual Shareholder Meeting
Laura Hurst, Bloomberg News
(Bloomberg) — Climate issues are set to take center stage at Shell Plc’s annual general meeting on Tuesday, with a key group saying the energy giant isn’t abiding by a landmark court order requiring it to cut emissions by 45% by 2030.
Milieudefensie, the Dutch arm of Friends of the Earth, says Shell’s plans around customer-related emissions — which make up the bulk of its pollution — aren’t in line with last year’s judgment. The group originally brought the case against the company.
“The judge’s verdict is clear and necessary: Shell must stop causing dangerous climate change,” said campaign spokesperson Nine de Pater, who plans to attend the meeting in London as a proxy shareholder. read more
Shell boss Ben van Beurden has been slammed for reaping more than £18million ahead of a possible shareholder rebellion this week.
Calculations by The Mail on Sunday show that the Dutch businessman – who has led Shell since 2014 – has seen the valuations of his shares and other payments soar. read more
Shell is preparing for a shareholder showdown at its upcoming general meeting later this month, with activist group Follow This pushing the energy giant to commit to more stringent environmental targets.
It has warned shareholders that Shell’s current transition plans are not aligned with the Paris Agreement, and has filed a motion – resolution 21 – calling for the oil and gas major to publish targets that cover short, medium and long term emissions in both its operations and the use of its energy products.read more
Shell plc (the Company) would like to provide further clarification to shareholders regarding Resolution 20 – the Company’s Energy Transition Progress for the year 2021.
Shell recognises and values the importance of shareholder engagement when considering its energy transition progress. In 2021, shareholders overwhelmingly supported the Shell Energy Transition Strategy, reflected through an advisory vote at the 2021 Annual General Meeting. The Company engaged extensively both before and after this shareholder vote. Insight on this engagement was provided on pages 141, 142 and 143* (see note below) of the Company’s 2021 Annual Report. The Board is grateful for the time and contribution of all those shareholders who provided feedback, and for the broad indications of support for Shell’s strategy.read more
Royal Dutch Shell plc (“Shell”) published a circular on 15 November 2021 which includes a notice of a General Meeting to be held at Rotterdam Ahoy, Ahoyweg 10, 3084 BA Rotterdam, the Netherlands at 10:00 (Dutch time), 09:00 (UK time) on December 10, 2021 (the “Circular”).
Unfortunately, since publication of the Circular, COVID-19 public transmission concerns have only intensified making it more imperative to take all steps we deem necessary to protect the health and safety of our shareholders, employees and GM staff as well as the public.read more

‘Wolf pack’ attack win opens the door for more turmoil
June 1, 2021: The success of the activist shareholder assault on the Exxon board last week, along with a court ruling ordering Royal Dutch Shell to cut its carbon emissions faster than planned and a majority of Chevron shareholders voting for a reduction in its “scope three” emissions have been depicted as victories for climate activists.
While the Shell decision clearly fits into that category (although it will appeal) and Chevron probably also squeezes in, the Exxon experience isn’t quite as clear cut and illustrates the confusion and conflict, for companies and investors, that flow from the increasing aggression and impact of environmental, social and governance (ESG) funds.read more
As an activist investor, Mark van Baal has been fighting for a greener Shell with Follow This for years. At the shareholders’ meeting he always speaks to the other ‘Van B.’ CEO Ben van Beurden. Follow This is unnecessary, Van Beurden believes, but Van Baal has since won over 30% of the shareholders.

Influential investor joins shareholder rebellion over Shell’s climate plan
Legal & General Investment Management, Britain’s biggest fund manager, piles pressure on oil firm
Rupert Jones and Hilary Osborne: Mon 24 May 2021 06.00 BSTBritain’s biggest fund manager has piled pressure on Shell after joining a shareholder rebellion over the oil company’s carbon-cutting plans, saying that they lack credibility and the ambition required to combat global heating.
It has emerged that Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM), one of the oldest fund managers in the City of London, was among investors behind a significant shareholder vote against Shell’s climate transition targets at the company’s annual meeting on Tuesday.
The asset manager, which is part of the insurer Legal & General and manages more than £1.2tn of assets, told the Guardian that it joined activists demanding faster progress because it did not believe the Anglo-Dutch company’s plan was credible.read more
Listen and read proof in audio and transcript form of Shell CEO Ben van Beurden’s cover-up tactics in the OPL 245 Nigerian corruption scandal. The instruction given by him in the covertly recorded call to CFO Simon Henry was at odds with Shell’s claimed core business principles. Cover-up and obstruction, instead of transparency and integrity, says Shell critic John Donovan
