As a vulnerable disabled person who is very reliant on a reliable WiFi, Internet service I totally regret signing up with She’ll Energy as it’s extremely unreliable

It is beyond absurd the way this company have treated me. After dialogue with this company about renewing my contract I was assured on multiple occasions that the new rate was in place however they continue to charge me at my old rate hence the multiple staff members I have spoken with simply did not do their jobs as they assured me it was changed yet it has not after multiple assurances. What kind of company employs staff who are simply not doing their jobs and lying to customers? I will now seek legal advice in relation to consumer rights as this company is simply not providing what we have agreed upon in the terms of our agreement. Truly shocking in this day and age that a company treats a customer like this.

Absolutely crap! I was lured by a £95 amazon voucher. The speed is OKish but the router keeps disconnecting my devices and then has a fit itself. When I got the router out of the box I thought it was off wish.com, very cheap looking and apparently also in its operation. I am looking to move next year and am seriously thinking about ‘buying” myself out of the contract earlyread more

Utterly awful. Pathetic router which just can’t hold a signal or broadcast to anywhere other than the room it’s in. Far too expensive for the speed you actually get and useless in terms of customer service. Avoid

For me the issue with Shell Broadband is mainly their customer service. If will offer you no grace if you need to change contract and it will always be in their favour. They will charge you FOR EVERYTHING. Admin fees, routers, sending routers back. I consider them the easyjet of flying.read more

British Spies, British Lies (James Hall vs Walied Shater)
I have never before seen a court document containing so many allegations of repeated lies by a top-level Shell official, supported by copious similar fact evidence of his alleged deceit.
By John Donovan
I reported in August 1917 that Mr Crockett Oaks III, Shell security manager for the Americas, received a ‘big bucks’ court case settlement from Shell.
The litigation arose from an alleged pattern of discrimination in favour of ‘White Brits’ by Shell and Shell Corporate Security VP James WD Hall, a British national.
Mr Hall is a security professional who worked in an undisclosed position purportedly in the British Foreign Office (MI6?) before his long career at Shell.
Mr Hall has faced a succession of accusers on the same race/national origin grounds starting with Crockett Oaks III.
The second case was brought by Mr Mike Oliveri, another gentleman with a military/security affairs background. Mr Oliveri is a decorated war veteran – a Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve.
Mr Hall’s current accuser is Mr Walied Shater a former US Secret Service agent. read more
Our home broadband has been very temperamental recently, disconnecting no less than 20 times a day. Speed is terrible, a tiny bit more than dial up! I’ve been trying to get support with no luck, and the only reply I received was a week ago by email – that’s all. I’ll take the matter further by seeking legal advice to leave this contract before it ends. This level of customer service with such low speed is not acceptable in 2022!read more
Not the same since they took over from the Post Office broadband, slow internet speeds and they even charged me for when engineer came to fix a problem and he never came into my house ! Worst decision ever to go with Shell energy broadband!
Following my previous complaint to Shell and paying 2 months balance which is the amount owed I get an email saying they are looking into my complaint. Still no reply and now a threatening letter saying they will cut off my internet.I made a call out request as Openreach left me and other properties without internet/phone for a week so still want a call out charge! And also charging me for a router as not returned even though I have a receipt of posting. I suppose they will say its an automated letter, WELL NO, ITS TOTAL INCOMPETENCE AS USUAL. The phone lines are operated by computers so are a waste of time and after over half an hour on the phone last time I was given wrong information that contradicted what another person had said. And to top it all the braodband speed is well below what they promised.read more
I didn’t ask to be a Shell Broadband customer. I signed up for Post Office broadband, but Shell bought them out and existing PO Broadband customers were forced to migrate to Shell or pay an early termination penalty. Shell customer service is hopeless, you waste huge amounts of time on the phone trying to contact these people, the broadband speed is glacially slow (and my broadband was meant to be fast but it was hopeless). I’ve just got rid of them and had to pay £157 for the privilege. Don’t even think about becoming a Shell Broadband customer, it’s not worth the time, money and stress. It’s a rip off.read more
Five years ago, Shell chief executive Ben van Beurden sat down for an interview with The Washington Post and said “we believe that climate change is real. We believe that the threat of climate change is real. And we believe that action is needed.”
Then he added: “It doesn’t mean we have to kiss hydrocarbons goodbye. In fact, we can’t. But it does mean that we have to make more intelligent choices.”
Today, however, Shell and other oil companies are under fire from those who don’t believe industry leaders are making intelligent choices. Dissident shareholders sought to use annual meetings to press their cases this week. And at Shell’s annual meeting in London on Tuesday, dozens of climate activists wore “Christian Climate Action” T-shirts and rhythmically chanted “we will, we will stop you,” forcing the company’s chairman to halt the proceedings for over an hour.read more

Printed below is a Google Review of the employment attorney law firm Oberti Sullivan LLP fast gaining a reputation for successfully suing the unscrupulous oil giant Shell, multiple times.
It was posted by Michael Oliveri, the former senior U.S. military officer who sued Shell for age discrimination and retaliation after the energy giant revoked his job offer. His posting seems to confirm, as previously stated online, that Shell settled his claim.
HIS POSTING
Mark Oberti and Ed Sullivan are two fine attorneys. They recently represented me in an age discrimination case, taking on one of Houston’s oil giants. They brilliantly went toe to toe with their company’s battery of attorneys. Mark and Ed continuously provided their insight, guidance, and represented me vigorously. They quickly understood the nuances of my case and developed a winning strategy. They were always open, honest, and straight forward. If you’re seeking legal representation, Mark and Ed are your guys.
The same law firm has sued Shell several times on behalf of individuals, all making allegations against the boss of Shell global security James W.D. Hall (a British spook). They have represented Crockett Oaks III (former FBI agent), Michael Oliveri and Walied Shater (a former U.S. Secret Service Agent) and appear to be on a winning streak.
I invite Shell to contact me if, in fact, Shell did not settle the relevant claims for pots of money and I will happily publish a correction.
Today, we have news that Oberti Sullivan is representing Julia Shur, an employee of Shell who was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer in June 2019. A year later, she was terminated for alleged performance reasons despite having led two transactions that resulted in more than $160 million in revenue for Shell that year.
A decision by Shell Oil Co. to reject the hiring recommendation of its former head of U.S. security has led to another discrimination lawsuit against the company, a subsidiary of the international oil major Royal Dutch Shell
Earlier this year Crockett Oaks III sued Shell for allegedly firing him after he objected to hiring preferences based on age and gender. Oaks and a selecition committee chose a 53-year-old man with a military background for a security advisor opening, but Shell executives allegedly blocked his hiring and directed Oaks to find a young, female candidate instead, according to court documents.read more

Shell directors may face lawsuit over climate transition plans
Simon Jessop and Kirstin Ridley and Shadia Nasralla: March 14, 2022
LONDON — Environmental lawyers ClientEarth said on Tuesday they were preparing legal action against the directors of Shell over the company’s climate transition plan, in what they said would be the first such case of its kind.
The ClientEarth lawyers said they are seeking to hold the directors personally liable for what they consider to be a failure to adequately prepare for the global shift to a low-carbon economy, claiming an alleged breach of the directors’ duties under the UK Companies Act.
ClientEarth said it had written to Shell notifying it of its claim and was waiting for it to respond before filing papers at the High Court of England and Wales. For the case to proceed, ClientEarth would then need permission from the court to do so.read more

CAN SHELL GREEN?
In the public perception, Shell is an industrial giant – now Fabian Ziegler, Chairman of the Management Board of Deutsche Shell Holding GmbH since spring 2020, wants to make the company greener.
Will the Swiss succeed in pulling off the coup so vital to the group’s survival?

The Hindenburg, The Titanic and Shell Prelude FLNG
By John Donovan
A huge bomb the size of several aircraft carriers welded together is floating off the coast of Australia. It was never meant to be a bomb but is now deemed to be so dangerous, susceptible to an explosion, that it is on emergency shutdown after a fire.
This article is written in collaboration with a retired Shell Global HSE Consultant Mr Bill Campbell. For several years we have been jointly ringing alarm bells about the Shell Prelude FLNG project. read more

Listen and read proof in audio and transcript form of Shell CEO Ben van Beurden’s cover-up tactics in the OPL 245 Nigerian corruption scandal. The instruction given by him in the covertly recorded call to CFO Simon Henry was at odds with Shell’s claimed core business principles. Cover-up and obstruction, instead of transparency and integrity, says Shell critic John Donovan
